9266 cases came to the fore in 2023

According to Delhi Municipal Corporation officials, more than 650 cases of dengue have been reported in the national capital so far in the year 2024. In the year 2023, 9,266 cases of dengue were reported in Delhi and 19 deaths were recorded. Before the G-20 summit last year, the Municipal Corporation had stopped issuing weekly reports on dengue cases and deaths.

Symptoms of Dengue

Let us tell you that the most important symptom of dengue is high fever, which lasts for more than two days. In most cases, the fever subsides only after 104 degrees Fahrenheit. If such a high fever occurs, then dengue may be the cause.

Apart from this, itchy red spots on your skin are also an indicator of this, which can spread throughout the body. Muscle and joint pain, severe headache, vomiting and nausea, bleeding from gums and nose are also included in its symptoms. Most patients suffering from dengue fever have persistent nausea and vomiting. Prolonged gastrointestinal discomfort can be a sign of dengue.
