Sawan Tuesday: Lord Shiva’s favorite month Sawan has started from Monday 22 July 2024 and will end on 19 August 2024. The entire month of Sawan is very auspicious for worship and fasting etc. Also, Sawan is also considered the holiest month of Hinduism.

  • Women should avoid cutting their hair on Sawan Tuesday. This brings poverty in the house.
  • Avoid insulting any elderly woman on this day. Doing these things on Sawan Tuesday brings negativity in life and no work gets done.
  • On Tuesdays falling in the month of Shravan, one should give up salt and follow celibacy.
  • Do not consume the things that you donate on this day. For example, if you have donated wheat, fruits or any other food item to someone today, avoid consuming it yourself.
