On the day of Sawan Purnima, it is customary to worship Lord Shiva, Chandra Dev, Shri Hari Vishnu and Maa Laxmi. Some people also perform Satyanarayan Puja on Purnima. On this day, wake up early, take a bath and collect the worship materials like Belpatra, incense, lamp, pure water, flowers, sweets, fruits etc.

After this, worship Lord Shiva by offering Bel leaves, flowers, fruits etc. and light incense sticks. After this, worship Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu together. Offer flowers, cowrie shells, yellow fruits etc. and worship properly. On Sawan Purnima, after moonrise at night, worship Chandra Dev by offering Arghya and Om som somay namah Chant the mantra.
