Firozabad News: There are ventilators at the community health center in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, but there is no special medical staff to operate them. Therefore, those ventilators have become white elephants at this time which cannot be used. When the Corona period came, almost all the ventilators were delivered to the community health center. But now their condition has become such that they are not used at all. The ventilators kept in Firozabad are just lying in the store room and adding to the beauty of the store room. Because due to the lack of special medical staff, ICU services could not be started there.
If any medical officer from the government comes or if a mock drill is to be done regarding ventilators, then ventilators are taken out from the store at the community health centers. Then a mock drill is done. It is told how the facility will be provided to the patients. But it is limited to mock drill only. Even today in the villages, if a patient needs a ventilator, he has to go to the government medical college. Therefore, the patient also has to face problems and due to lack of ventilator facility at the community health center, he is referred to the medical college.
Ventilators could not be started due to lack of doctors
Ventilators have been sent to all the community health centers in Firozabad. But there are still eight community health centers where ventilators are not available. When we talked to ACMO Dr. Pawan Kumar about this, he said that ventilators have not been started due to lack of specialist doctors in the hospitals. These ventilators were sent during the time of Corona. A letter has been sent to the government to send specialist doctors here. There are no ventilators there. Ventilators should also be sent there and special treatment which can treat the patient.
