Delhi Old Rajendra Nagar Incident Identification of deceased students

Delhi Coaching Incident: Three students died tragically when water filled in the basement of Rao Coaching Center in Old Rajendra Nagar area of Delhi on Saturday night. The deceased include 2 girls and 1 boy. They have now been identified. The deceased student Shreya Yadav was a resident of Ambedkar Nagar district of UP. Tanya Soni was a resident of Telangana. The deceased student has been identified as Naveen Dalvin, a resident of Ernakulam, Kerala.

Relatives of deceased student Shreya Yadav said that a case of culpable homicide should be filed against the owner of the coaching institute.

What did the AAP MLA say on the matter?
On the Old Rajendra Nagar coaching centre incident in Delhi, AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak says that the water has now receded. Why were the children studying in the basement? This is a completely criminal activity, strict action should be taken against whoever is responsible. Delhi’s drainage system has collapsed and the reason for this is that BJP was in power for 15 years, we have been here for the last 1 year and are working on the drains, I want this to be investigated and strict action should be taken against whoever is responsible.

On the accident, Delhi Mayor Shaili Oberoi said that a very sad incident happened yesterday. As soon as I got information about the incident, I immediately reached the spot. The NDRF team was doing rescue operations there. It is sad that 3 children died in this incident. I have written a letter to the Commissioner MCD in which I have talked about strict action against those institutes which come under the jurisdiction of MCD and coaching centers are running in the basement against the law. If MCD officials are found involved in this matter, then strict action should be taken against them as well, if such coaching centers are running illegally, then action will be taken against them and action will also be taken against the officer. At such a time, we should not make allegations and counter-allegations but should take action.
